Hurtling forward from the past.

Sometimes I find an old relic from my past and it's like I was meant to find it. I found an old USB keyboard that I bought with the intention of writing a blog on the go. Somehow, it appeared out of nowhere and still works. More importantly, technology has caught up and smart phones are smarter and can recognise that a bluetooth keyboard is a keyboard instead of some weird controller that controls the often poor virtual keyboard that we have to use.

Still, I probably won't use this very much but I'm here right now and it's going alright. I'm listening to David Bowie "Blackstar".

Back to basics

Having been absent from the blogosphere for so long it's difficult to get back into the swing of things. Do people still call it the blogosphere? Is writing a blog still even relevant? Going to guess no. It means the chance of somebody I know reading this is now so close to impossible.

Is it all about video? Is podcasting still a thing? I want to start a podcast again. I don't know where to even start with that any more. The internet has changed so much now. It's like everything is now behind a pay wall. I guess the wall was built with business in mind.

The internet has changed since I started using it all those years ago. It's so different and it's not as much fun as it was. It's unreal. I wonder if it is possible to recapture that old spark that the internet used to have. I guess you just have to go back to basics.
